Playgrounds to Pixels

Take a journey through the history of play in Beverley, from the open fields and streets of the past to the digital worlds of today. The exhibition allows visitors to discover how play has changed from the traditional street games and free play on the pastures, through the development of playgrounds and family festivals to the growing role of digital technology in children's lives. There is also an opportunity for visitors to contribute their own memories of play, wherever they grew up.
